Pentagon Sponsors ITF Women's Tournament'19

The ITF Women's tournament with prize money of $25,000 was held in Arera Club Bhopal from 19th to 24th Nov'2019. The tournament showcased India's star players including eminent players from China, Great Britain, Japan, Thailand, Ukraine, Germany, Turkey, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, and Latvia.

SOM Group of Companies sponsored the "Singles final" round of this international championship through its leading Brand "Pentagon Gold Edition Whisky". In the match world No 611 Karman Kaur Thandi, India, faced 4th seed and World No 266 Chihiro Muramatsu, Japan, in the final on November 24, 2019.

This was a lucrative opportunity for SOM by associating themselves with this international championship. To enhance brand awareness and affinity around the event branding of premium Pentagon Gold Edition Whisky was done at various places of Arera Club.

The weekend provided a big entertainment for passionate, energetic and full of life tennis lovers in Bhopal. With packed gallery at the Arera Club, tennis lovers witnessed a keen battle between two top players of the tournament.

Chihiro Muramatsu Of Japan won the $25,000 ITF women's tennis tournament. Karman Kaur Thandi retired when the Japanese led 6-1, 3-1 in the final at the Arera Club on Sunday.
